Tour information
Your Private Rainforest and Wildlife tour begins on the Gold Coast. A short distance beyond the beaches another paradise awaits, Nature’s Paradise. The trek into the Hinterland region follows the original pioneer’s track to the volcanic plateau of Tamborine Mountain. This area of secluded eucalyptus forests provides a private sanctuary for koala, wallabies and other varied wildlife.
A break for morning tea and chance to check out Gallery Walk on the Mountain. Delicious fresh scones or cakes served with jams, cream, tea and coffee.
Time to stretch the legs when guides, who are renowned for their local knowledge and expertise, escort you on a leisurely guided bush walk. Discover lush subtropical rainforests with cascading waterfalls, learn about the forests unique characteristics, how the Aboriginal people gathered food from the forest floor and the animals and birds that call the area home.
From here we start our journey to Purling Brook Falls on Springbrook Mountain for another guided walk but first we check out stunning views from Tamborine’s westerly lookout. On a good day we see the local hang gliders and Para gliders stepping off the steep hillside.
Lunch at a little family run Cafe at Purling Brook Falls then we head to Canyon lookout to see Twin Falls and Rainbow Falls and views back to the ocean and the Gold Coast.
Now its your turn to tell us what you want. More waterfalls or one of the best lookouts in Springbrook mountains. Aptly named “Best of All Lookout”. Should you wish to take in another waterfall we will head down to Natural Bridge.

This is the ideal tour for someone wanting to see more waterfalls. This is a popular tour for those who have joined us before on our Rainforest and Wildlife Tour and wish to experince a new area of the Hinterland. The waterfalls look there best during summer and after rainfall. Simply stunning after a storm the night before. The freedom of our private tour means if you change you mind in the moring we can just change our plan to suit you. This tour does cover more distance than other tours and we will adjust as we go along to ensure we see everything. Like all our private tours we will discuss with you in the morning what works best for you and the time we have.
