Our Tamborine mountain 4wd tour will get you into the Hinterland area of the Gold Coast. Keep on reading below for a full tour description, what’s included is on the sidebar to your left.

TOUR DESCRIPTION

Following the original track built by early pioneer’s to transport their produce to the Coast, the tour winds through eucalyptus Forests to enter the magnificent rainforests of Tamborine Mountain National Parks. While negotiating this seldom used track we keep a look out for koala and other native wildlife.

We have lived in the area for over 25 years and have extensive local knowledge and expertise. We will share our favourite places and you’ll learn about the Hinterlands unique flora and fauna. View waterfalls cascading into cool mountain streams.

We take a break for morning or afternoon tea and you get the chance to check out Gallery Walk on the Mountain.(Included)

Our Morning Or Afternoon tea includes Delicious fresh scones, served with jams, cream, tea and coffee our our own private venue.

Tamborine is starting to build a reputation for its wineries so this tour would not be complete without a wine tasting at one of the local wineries. Reds, Whites and and ports always please.

Not into wine but enjoy beer then you can skip wine tasting and head to Mount Tamborine’s brewery to taste their extensive range of local beers (optional)

Time to stretch the legs and let us take you on a fully guided leisurely bush walk to the mountain’s only spring fed waterfall. Discovering the lush subtropical rainforests we will tell you about the forest’s unique characteristics, how the Aboriginal people gathered food from the forest floor and the animals and birds that call the area home.

And yes, boomerangs do come back. Haven’t thrown one since you were a kid, or first time to Australia, this is great fun for all ages.

The return journey to the Gold Coast provides sweeping views of the Coast and surrounding mountain ranges. We can even drop you back after the morning tour at Australia Fair, Pacific Fair, Movie World or Harbour Town on our way back into town to save you on precious holiday time!

If you are looking at upgrading to our full day tour thats not a problem. Our Full day Tour is by far the best vaule for money. Frequently Asked Questions

We are staying in Brisbane and want to join your tour. How do we make sure we dont miss out?

By Car: If you have your own car you can drive done to Moviworld and we will meet you there and let you know where to park. Parking is Free of Charge. The drive from brisbane is around 35minutes

By Train or Bus: Your best bet is to catch the train to Helensvale Train Station. As soon as you walk off the train our vehicle will be out the front. Drop us an email and let us know the day you are planning and we will send you a link to the train timtable. After the tour we can drop you back at the station or we can take you into Surfers Paradise to check out what it has to offer.

How do we know our pick up time and if you pick up from our hotel accomidation?

Send through an email or give us a call letting us know what day you want to tour and where your staying and we will send back all the information you need.

What happens if the weather changes and its going to rain?

We carry big umbrellas in all our vehicles so if it does rain we can keep you covered and dry all day. Rainforest’s would not be what they are if it didnt rain so we may encounter the odd shower but this will not stop us doing the tour. Should we think its going to be a misrable day we will advise the night before tour.

If we join the half day tour and decide to upgrade to the full day tour during the day, Can we?

No Problems, If we have the seats and your having too much fun we can let you know the upgrade fee and you can countie on with us. The half day tour is the begining of the full day tour so we will let you know what time in the monring you need to tell us.
