Tour information
Australia’s only Night time 4wd Safari of Glow Worms in Australia. This small group tour is an experience like no other. Not only experience 4wding during the day but then at night. Obviously this is more than just a 4wding experience. Our location for Glow-worms is hidden away from all the tourist buses but still located deep within Tamborine National Park. The added bonus to this walk is the waterfall at the end. See it at night time.
After departing the city of the Gold Coast as the sunsets we head off-road to the top of Tamborine Mountain. First stop is the western lookout to watch the sunset over the Great Dividing Range and the beautiful Scenic Rim region with its abundance of equestrian arenas and cattle farms.
A local Cafe on Tamborine Mountain opens just for us for a light meal as we wait for it to get dark. A refershing cold drink or Hot Drink with your meal before we venture into the night to spot the Glow worms in there natural enviroment.
This tour is more than just the Glow worms and the 4wding. As nighttime falls on the Rainforests the forest comes alive with Nocturnal wildlife. Let us guide you through this amazing change in the forest.
The Glow worms are right there in front of you like stars in the night sky. Heading out at night time would not be complete without using our Night vision finder. See at night time just like in the movies.We guarantee you will love this tour and it stands apart from all others offered. Great for all ages.
Notes
All vehicles have umbrellas, insect repellent and first aid kits. Your guides have all relevant permits and authorisation to ensure 100% safety. This is an all age tour. Should you require capsule or booster seat for younger family members just let us know (no extra charge).
We provide individual LED torches to each guest and your guide has special high visibilty torches with soft filtered light as not to disturb the nocturnal wildlife
Please note this tour can be customised for large groups, we have the Latest model, luxury 16 seater Mercedes vehicles to cater for your larger groups. All our vehicles are 4wd but if you just want to stick to the roads we can.
